Submission and Author'S instructions
Camera Ready Paper Submission:
- Create your manuscript using IEEE camera ready templates for Microsoft word and LateX. Templates can be found here.
- Prepare your camera ready paper incorporating all reviewers’ comments.
- Proof-read and check layout of manuscript. The maximum manuscript length is six (6) pages including figures, tables, references, etc.
- Access/Create IEEE PDF eXpress account using the Innovations’12 conference ID. The conference ID is IIT12x
- Upload your source file(s) for Conversion or your PDF-created file(s) for Checking. The IEEE PDF eXpress site contains extensive instructions to attain IEEE Xplore -compatible PDF(s) manuscripts.
- Use the verified/converted final IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF(s) electronically using EDAS.
- The deadline for submitting camera-ready submission is February 27, 2012.
- At least one author must register & pay conference fees through EDAS.
Innovations 2012 - IEEE PDF eXpress:
IEEE PDF eXpress is a free service sponsored by IEEE to allow authors to make IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs (Conversion function) or to check author-created PDFs and report whether or not they are IEEE Xplore compatibility (PDF Check function). If a file cannot be converted or checked, IEEE eXpress can provide assistance to correct problems with PDFs
Steps to use the IEEE PDF eXpress service for Innovations 2012:
- Access the IEEE PDF eXpress site at this link (http://www.pdf-express.org/)
- First-time users access:
- Click "New Users-Click Here"
- Enter IIT12x for the Conference ID, your email address, and choose a new password.
- Check that the contact information is still valid, and click "Submit".
- You will receive online and e-mail confirmation of successful account setup.
- Previous users access, but using it for the first time for a new conference:
- Enter IIT12x for the Conference ID, your email address, and enter the password you used for your old account.
- When you click "Login" you'll receive an error saying you need to set up an account. Simply click "Continue". By entering your previously used e-mail address and password combination, you will enable your old account for access to this new conference.
- Check that the contact information is still valid, and click "Submit".
- You will receive online and e-mail confirmation of successful account setup.
- Returning users access: Enter IIT12x for the Conference ID, along with your e-mail address, and password.
- For each conference paper, click "Create New Title".
- Enter identifying text for paper (title is recommended but not required).
- Click "Submit PDF for Checking" or "Submit Source Files for Conversion".
- Indicate platform, source file type (if applicable), click Browse and navigate to file, and click "Upload File". You will receive online and e-mail confirmation of successful upload.
- You will receive an e-mail with your Checked PDF or IEEE PDF eXpress-converted PDF attached. If you submitted a PDF for checking, the e-mail will show if your file passed or failed.
If the PDF submitted fails:
- Submit your source file for conversion by clicking "Try Again", and then "Submit Source Files for Conversion", or
- Read the PDF Check report, then click "The PDF Check Report" in the sidebar to get information on possible solutions, or
- "Request Technical Help" through your account.
If you are not satisfied with the IEEE PDF eXpress-converted PDF:
- Resubmit your source file with corrections ("Try Again" then "Submit Source Files for Conversion"), or
- Submit a PDF by clicking "Try Again" then "Submit PDF for Checking", or
- "Request a Manual Conversion" through your account.
sign next to the copyright forms field. Click the IEEE Copyright Submission button and you will be transferred to visit the IEEE web site that allows you to submit your copyright form electronically.
