Room rates during Gitex are very expensive. The conference has reserved a block of rooms at two hotels and is subsidizing the room rates as follows:

	Renaissance Hotel Special IIT 2006 Rate: USD 200		Sofitel - City Center: Special IIT 2006 Rate: USD 185

In order to secure your room, please email your request to Mr. Ali Fadel (alif@uaeu.ac.ae) and include your arrival and depature times and room preference (king/double; smoking/non-smoking) by October 14, 2006. These special rates are only available until October 14, so please reserve your room as soon as possible.
