reviewer comments and recommendations, modify your
manuscript(s) accordingly, double-check the English.
it is highly recommended that you proofread and
check the layout of your manuscript(s).

Create your
IEEE PDF eXpress account.
-
Upload
source file(s) for Conversion; and/or PDF(s) for
Checking, to the PDF eXpress site. Download the
converted/cheked PDFs. Repeat until PDF is IEEE
Xplore compatible.

Submit
final, IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF(s) to the IIT
2006 Trachchair site (http://iit06.trackchair.com),
using your initial submission account. The deadline is
20-Oct-2006.

Download,
print, fill, sign and fax the copyright form.

Register
Updating Your Manuscript

Formatting Guidelines
Final papers submitted to IIT
2006 MUST BE IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF (i.e passed the
IEEEeXpress check). NO OTHER FORMATS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Papers must be five (5)
camera-ready pages, including figures. File size should not
exceed 2 MB. Papers should follow IEEE double-column
format. The first page of the paper should include the paper
title (centered on the top below the top margin) and an
abstract. In addition, the following Copyright Clearance
Center (CCC) code must be placed on the bottom, left-hand
side of the first page of each paper

To conform to the IEEE requirements, the above CCC code
has been inserted in the MS Word
template. Please USE
this template
file
to typeset your camera-ready
manuscript. Alternatively, you can use
the procedure below to put CCC code in the footer of the
first page of yout MS Word paper.
- Open the file in Word.
- Go to the "File" menu.
- Select "Page Setup".
- Select the "Layout" tab.
- Check the "Different first page" box.
- Clic "OK".
- Go to the "View" menu.
- Select "Header and Footer".
- On the first page, go to the "First page
footer" text box and write your text in the box.
- Close the "Header and Footer" toolbar.
Tou should then create an IEEE compliant PDF (see below)
of your document before uploading the resulting pdf file to
Trackchair again.

Log on to
the PDF eXpress site

For each
conference paper, click “Create New Title”.

Enter
identifying text for the paper (title is recommended but
not required).

Click
“Submit PDF for Checking” or “Submit Source Files for
Conversion”.

Indicate
platform, source file type (if applicable), click Browse
and navigate to file, and click “Upload File”. You will
receive online and email confirmation of successful
upload.

You will
receive an email with your Checked PDF or IEEE PDF
eXpress-converted PDF attached. If you submitted a PDF
for Checking, the email will show if your file passed or
failed

IEEE is very strict about the
requirements for converting application files to full-text
PDF for inclusion in IEEE Xplore®. If you are submitting
your own PDF for compatibility check, please follow the
instructions in
"IEEE
PDF File Preparation Guide for IEEE Xplore"
that describes the essential steps in distilling PDFs that
meet the IEEE requirements. The most important issue that
every author shall pay attention to is to make sure that all
the fonts used in your papers are EMBEDDED and SUBSETTED.
Use the
job options file to set
Adobe Distiller to the correct requirements.
Submit final, IEEE Xplore-compatible
PDF(s) to IIT 2006 TrackChair Site

iit06@uaeu.ac.ae. The form
should reach to us by October 20, 2006. Without this form,
IEEE will not publish your paper in IEEE Xplore. ** PLEASE
MAKE SURE THAT YOU COMPLETE THE PAPER TITLE AND NAMES OF ALL
AUTHORS IN THE FORM. **
